By completing this Pledge, you are acknowledging that your business is committed to safe business practice recommendations for your industry as stated by Safe Space Management for the Safe Space 1st Program. You will be emailed a Certificate of Safe Space management which you can print and display for your customers and staff to ensure them that you are in accordance with federal and provincial recommendations and that the safety of individuals and the community are of utmost importance to you when they visit your business.

Customers and staff are encouraged to report discrepancies in your practices. A verified complaint from the public or staff that the business is not following Safe Space Management standards the business will be informed and adherence will be requested. A second verified complaint will result in the withdrawal of the endorsement of your business and the certificate will be revoked.

When checked, the business operator will be acknowledging that they follow the Safe Space Management standards and recommendations in accordance with federal and provincial guidelines. The operator also agrees that if they fail in their obligation to adhere to the recommendations, they will remove the certificate from public view and if they fail to do so, they will allow ABLE United to remove it.
